Those Darn Kids…Holiday Edition

It’s Tuesday and Those Darn Kids are back to ruin your day! But can’t we find any kids in the holiday spirit? Well, with Christmas fast approaching, I couldn’t resist posting this next video. I’m sure everyone’s seen it to death, but think of it like those Christmas specials, like Rankin-Bass’ Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer that are an annual yuletide tradition. This kid’s freak out is extreme, though it’s in a good way:

If only everyone reacted this severely to holiday gifts you gave them! Ironically, in the Summer of 2006, “Nintendo 64 Kid,” now all grown up, put up this very N64 on eBay and got (I believe) a couple hundred bucks for it. We really are a pop-culture obsessed society I suppose.

The “Those Darn Kids…” segment will be taking somewhat of a holiday break, as I need to scour the ‘net for more clips of kids throwing fits over games and work on other stuff for the blog. They’re sure to be back with a vengeance, but not until some time into the New Year. In the meantime, why not check out “Kids” segments you might have missed?
